Disc Jockey rates vary based on talent, experience, emcee ability, service, coordination, equipment needed, music knowledge, mixing ability and personality. A full-service disc jockey company will normally invest 12 to 30 hours to your special event but it may appear that you are only paying for "4 hours". Consultations, music purchasing & editing, preparation, set-up and tear-down, education and other business related endeavors add up to the overall success of your special occasion.

BIO:
In 1994 a new kid at a new school in New Orleans made friends with a fellow classmate. That new kid was David Storm, the fellow classmate was a young entertainer, DJ Kra-Z, Kevin Martino. After discussions about their shared love of music, DJ Kra-Z extended an invitation to David Storm to come out DJing and that was the beginning of it all. Since 1994, David has gone on to work at such places as The Cat's Meow and The Krazy Korner on Bourbon St., The Lake 94.7 and 90.9 KSLU fm in Hammond, The Isle of Capri Commodore Cruise Line (that hosted the MTV Spring Break Cruise), and other bars and miscellaneous venues around southern Louisiana and Mississippi.
After working with other established mobile entertainment companies, the turn of the century saw the birth of Omega Sound & Entertainment as a weekend hobby business. The tragedy of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 opened the door for a merging of Omega Sound & Entertainment, Get Into The Sound Mobile DJ Service (owned by Kevin Martino), Get Into The Sound Memphis (operated by DJ Roland), and Down South Productions (owned by Craig "DJ Razz" Berry) and the business was a hobby no more. Later in 2005 David's wife Nichole started Belle Amour Photography (formerly Bella Photography) and the two companies began to work together entertaining and photographing brides and grooms and other venues all over the gulf south.
FEEDBACK
David, Thank you for being the DJ at our wedding. You did a beautiful job accommodating our requests and our silly family. Obviously our family enjoyed your music choices entirely! Our friends said your choices were great, not one bad song and you kept everyone on the dance floor. The florist even commented that she has rarely seen so many people still dancing at the end of the night when she comes to clean up!
We are now living in New Orleans, so please use us as a reference if you need one.

David, At the time of the wedding I was a little distracted and I didn’t get a chance to talk to you before the end of my event. I wanted you to know both myself and my husband were so very pleased with your services. We think you did an outstanding job, above and beyond what was called for.
I believe I told the photographer as much, but my husband DOES NOT DANCE. At least that’s what he told me before the wedding. You did such an awesome job of getting him out there cutting loose and having fun. In fact, I highly recommend you check out the clip we uploaded to You Tube, it’s an absolute kick!
If you need any kind of reference for your business, I would be delighted to give an excellent recommendation for you. You can be sure that I will be calling you for any future DJ needs. Thank you so much for everything. The money spent on the DJ and Photographer was the best money I spent for my wedding.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------David is an excellent entertainer. He saved our wedding reception. We had to fire the original DJ who came unprepared and without the selected music for our wedding party. Thank you for a quick takeover!! We will always be grateful.

David,
I'm Jessica's Mom and just had to tell you how awesome you were at the wedding Saturday night. Everyone has commented on how fun you were and what a great time they had dancing all night. Anyway, just wanted you to know how thrilled we were to have you at the reception. I will definitely pass the word if anyone ever needs a DJ.
Thanks so much, you were GREAT!! Jess and Pete couldn't possibly have had a better time at the reception than they had with you.

In 1993 a high school sophomore with a starter system and a love for music began to turn New Orleans' mobile entertainment scene on its side. That boy was Kevin Martino. His uncanny ability to recall music and entertain even the most difficult crowds with his flair for the sometimes unusual transition earned him the name "DJ Kra-Z". He started K-Jams Mobile Entertainment with friend and fellow DJ, Ricky Esteves and later in 1994 took under his wing a young David Storm. After high school graduation, his partnership with Ricky dissolved as they both went their separate ways and Get Into The Sound Mobile DJ Service was born.
Get Into The Sound rocked New Orleans for almost a decade until Hurricane Katrina struck in August of 2005. Kevin, living in Chalmette, lost everything. He took residence with DJ Roland in Memphis, where he'd evacuated to, and after discussions with and a little help from DJ Roland and David Storm, Get Into The Sound was reborn in Memphis, TN. DJ Kra-Z now resides in Kenner, LA and has reborn Louisiana's branch of Get Into The Sound leaving the Memphis branch under the management of partner DJ Roland.
Hi guys!!
I really need to let you know what an AWESOME job Kevin Martino did at Brittany and Jonathan's wedding reception!! The crowd was engaged all night and there wasn't one moment that the dance floor wasn't packed. Kevin was the ultimate professional and took extra care in making sure everyone was having a great time. As the mother of the bride, and of course the paying party, we sure got a great value when we booked with OSE!! So proud of the GOBO Brittany selected...it added a really nice touch to the evening! Whatever your plans...I'd strongly recommend booking OSE...first class bunch of guys!!! Thanks again!
- Cindy L.
Kevin,
Wow, you really got it pumpin' at our wedding reception. Michael (groom) was very happy with the music as was I. Thank you for the great idea with the garter belt, that was fun. :) And thanks as well for showing the way with the second line. I really wanted a brass band (not realistic with our budget), but you were the next best thing. Thanks for managing the ceremony music as well. Have a happy and healthy new year.
- Michael & Sara Scott

Chad “"P”" Pierce developed a love for music at a very early age. His dad, older brother, brother-in-law, and several uncles all play guitar but unfortunately Chad was overlooked when it came to that talent. So he picked up some drum sticks and started taking out his frustrations of having no guitar-playing talent on his first 5-piece Ludwig set of drums. Chad has been playing drums since 1994.
Chad furthered his love for music in 1999 when he went to work as a student disc jockey for 90.9 fm KSLU at Southeastern Louisiana University. Chad’'s passion and work ethic eventually led to his permanent time slot of the afternoon drive where he remained until he graduated. In 2006 Chad returned to KSLU in a professional management role. He is now in charge of the station’'s sales, promotions and marketing. He also assists student disc jockeys with the development of their on-air personalities, in addition to co-hosting his own radio show.
Oh yeah, he’'s also a dj/entertainer for Omega Sound and Entertainment. That’s the purpose for this bio right? Chad has served as the dj/mc for countless professional events at Southeastern Louisiana University, several community business expos, school pep rallies, weddings, fashion shows, high school class reunions and at least one furniture store grand opening to date.
Chad P was the best DJ we've EVER had! He is the perfect combination of professional entertainer and fun generator! We loved how he interacted with the cadets, and his energetic personality is very contagious. He was able to include everyone's musical taste while still keeping it clean and classy. Chad played our requests and added great variety to the atmosphere! We hope to have him as our DJ again next year!
-Slidell High NJROTC, January 2012
Chad P. made our event outstanding and lively. Choosing him to Dj was the best decision I could have made. Not only did he offer great music and entertainment, but he brought along a great attitude and made people smile. I was more than satisfied with the service he offered and would definately arrange for him to be at our next event!
Thanks for everything! You were absolutely wonderful and fun!
-Jena (RPCC)
What I like most about having Chad as our DJ was that he helped us create a play list to our exact specifications. I am very picky with music and really appreciated that he could work with me on that! In addition to that, Chad has a terrific speaking voice and it's very obvious that he is completely comfortable in front of a microphone! He has no problem improvising and entertaining a crowd if and when necessary!
-Jacqueline (New Orleans bride)
Our 45th class reunion was a hit thanks to the expertise of our DJ, Chad P. His natural ability to read the crowd, work and interact with them added to the fun and excitement of the evening. Already requests have been made to have him back for our 50th!!!
-Pat (Ponchatoula High Reunion Committee)

A long, long time ago, in a hookah bar far, far, away, our young hero DJ Justin Credible was barbacking, preparing hookahs, and readying up for a stiff night of security when he would be introduced to the bar's new DJ. That man was David Storm. Throughout the night, the two would interact cracking jokes, signing karaoke, and pleasing the masses. An instant connection was made and a calling was realized.
As the weeks turned into months, David began to find out more about Justin, like his classical music and dance training. David began to incorporate Justin in his shows and as the months became years, the crowds became masses and Justin's popularity and reputation grew.
Many things have changed since those hookah bar days, but the things that remain the same are Justin's loyalty to David Storm and Omega Sound & Entertainment, his love for both music and dance, and his ability to ignite and excite crowds of any age at any event. Find out for yourself why Justin's shows can only be described as "just incredible!"
Everything was great. We really appreciate all you did for us. Thanks again!! We would definitely recommend you and hire you again!
- Beci H.
*** Currently, Justin spends most of his weekends as a resident DJ at the Olde Towne Tavern in Slidell, La. ***

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, Omega Sound & Entertainment is proud to present to you, our resident rock star, "DJ Feenix" Rusty Gregoire!
Don't be fooled by his mild-mannered secret identity as Mandeville High School Broadcasting teacher, DJ Feenix is a veteran, superstar entertainer. Rusty began DJing over ten years ago and since then has gone on to work at The Cat's Meow on Bourbon St, as the original and current lead singer of the band NOD, and host of such programs as the Sports Asylum and UC Music on Southeastern Louisiana University's Television Network, as well as the Afternoon Flight on 90.9 KSLU fm. It was during his stint at KSLU where DJ Feenix and David Storm were introduced and collaborated on a variety of projects.
After graduating from SLU, Rusty retired from DJing to concentrate on his new job, teaching at Mandeville High. But finally, after much persuasion, DJ Feenix has awoken and risen from the ashes of DJ retirement to return to rock the masses!
For a show with intensity, energy, and entertainment unlike any other, fly with the Feenix!
